What day is it again?

UPDATE: I’m taking a week or so off from publishing my blog. I was going to post this yesterday, but didn’t want people to think I was April Fooling them.

This week has been incredibly busy and will be even busier on the backend, coupled with some engagements this weekend and a UConn National Championship run that is putting me on the edge of insanity.

(And breaking high chairs on Sunday afternoons in your mid-20’s makes you take a step back and look at what exactly you’re doing.)

I’m still writing when I can this week, just not publishing. I’m up to some really important pieces in this journey. The people in them and the tales themselves deserve more attention to detail than I can currently afford to give them.

I will still publish 40 (or more) once I get back into the swing of things. I would ask you all to forgive me for missing on my target.

And, to homie Jesus, if this is what sends me to Hell – after the life I’ve had – I’ll take it.

I would ask you to go back and re-read some of the stuff I have published. Pay attention to directions, numbers and colors – things that are concrete, black and white, and indisputable.

Remember, everything you read is a metaphor. Except the metaphors. Those are just bullshit.

I’ve planted some seeds. They’re almost ready to flourish.

Alex, I just want you to know that I am thoroughly enjoying taking this journey with you. It’s giving me great insight into the young man you have become and how you got there. Thank you for sharing pieces of yourself with all of us.

    1. Tammy, thanks for reading! I’m hoping to find more time to publish more consistently. Hope all is well! 🙂
